Waves crash

and roar

fizzle

and push

sigh

and pull.

Sounds

tingle

tastebuds

like honey.

I inhale

greedily

as salt air

fills

my hungry

lungs

with purity.

Warm sun

kisses

my swelling

chest.

My heart

slows.

Sea birds call

to welcome

me home.
